Die Mittelschülerin Yumehara Nozomi findet, dass sie kein Talent hat. Als interessiertes Mädchen hatte sie schon alles mögliche ausprobiert, doch scheiterte sie jedes mal. Eines Tages findet sie in der Bibliothek ein magisches Buch und Coco, ein kleines Wesen aus dem Palmier-Königreich, unter dessen Anleitung sie sich in Cure Dream verwandelt. Coco ist zusammen mit Nuts in unsere Welt gekommen, um die 55 Pinkies zu suchen, mit deren Hilfe die beiden ihre Welt vom Einfluss der Nightmares, einer bösen Organisation, befreien und wieder aufbauen können. Die Nightmares strecken ihre Finger schon nach der Erde aus und Nozomi versucht sie zurückzuschlagen. Als Cure Dream hat Nozomi somit eine Aufgabe gefunden, die sie ausfüllt. Mit der Zeit stoßen weitere vier Mädchen aus der École des Cinqs Lumières Mittelschule zu Nozomi und komplettieren das Pretty Cure Team. (Quelle: thetvdb.com)
